Queen's Lane Coffee House is an historic coffee house dating from 1654 in Oxford, England. It claims to be the oldest coffee house in Europe.
The coffee house is situated on the north side of the High Street (at No. 40), on the corner with Queen's Lane, hence the name. Close by are both The Queen's College to the west and St Edmund Hall to the north. It is popular with both Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University students and tourists. |
